Maybe you will laugh as hard as I did. Maybe you needed to laugh as hard as I did. Maybe you won’t understand what any of these things mean and that makes you laugh. Either way, I hope you laugh, and if you do, send that laughter our way. We need it.

I’ll tell you something funny – my 12 year old is into telling blonde jokes (for whatever reason – he’s a 12 year old boy, who knows) but he’s decided to change them to “brunette” jokes because he thinks I’m blonde. They’re so not funny as brunette jokes. LOL

When my 2nd child was around 4 years old, he learned “The Farmer in the Dell” and was singing it for my mother and I one day. Instead of singing “the farmer takes a wife” he sang “the farmer takes a life”. I said to my mother, “Wow. Was it a bad year on the farm???”

    Hello!
I just wanted to let you know that I am honoring Tuesday in the relay for life that is being held at the school I teach at. Her name is on our Tree of Hope. I hope I can send you the picture of it! (the only problem is I spelled her last name without the ‘H’) Please let me know how to email you so I can send you the pictures =)
Childhood cancer has changed my life. Beginning with a boy that attends my school and precious Cole. And then there’s Tuesday. She’s grabbed my heart and I don’t want her to let go. Thank you for sharing your story… what a testimony it has been for so many, including myself. God bless you,

Just found your blog. What a lucky day for me:)

  71. Alisha says:

    Very cute! I loved them!

  72. Tamara aka Cheapskate Mom says:

These were really funny. I keep praying for your family. I just watched the video you posted on your sidebar and it is so beautiful. I remember the music from Tuesday’s service but it was so crowded (a great thing of course) I did not get a good view of it at the time. I am so inspired by your family. The love and beauty shown in every photo. I have a lot of hard days with my kids as my oldest son is a challenge behavior wise, but seeing the video reminds me how lucky I am to have each of my boys here and reminds me to hug them and love them even when they are naughty.

Also, I won an auction item that I wanted to donate in Tuesday’s honor. It is the stippled drawing here: http://inthelifeofachild.com/index.php/tuesdays-blog-party-giveaway/

I chose the lion one – they are known for their strength and courage and well…it’s really cute too! I was thinking of donating it to the Ronald McDonald house in Aurora near the Children’s Hospital there. Unless you have a better suggestion for it. Please let me know if you do. It will be a while before I get it. Also, her daughter is drawing something special too which will be donated along with the drawing.

    *Hugs* from Denver – Tamara

  73. Jaime and Faith says:

The Rick Astley one made me laugh out loud…I could hear the song in my head…my mother LOVED that song when I was young and I know all the words…too funny Jess…except now I can’t get the Rick Astley song out of my head….never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down…oh god now it’s never going to go away 🙂

  74. Bethany says:

I love these things. There are a few groups full of them on Flickr (maybe that’s where you found these) and I could spend hours sitting there laughing at them. 85. Lori says:

    Sarah,
The play for the Argentina song was Evita.
The last one is "All You Need is Love" by the Beatles.

    Thinking….. always thinking of Tuesday!

  86. Gail says:

Sarah, sorry I didn't answer soon enough. I do remember that song now. Bud duh! I didn't know where Argentina was.
