Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to my lovely Mom, lovely Mother-in-law(s) and my lovely mama friends. As Spencer so eloquently said, “You! Rock!”

An extra huge hug to all the mamas out there who didn’t get to hear these words from their baby today.

    Happy Mother’s Day!

I thought of you this weekend, when I heard someone say “Hey Jessica!”

Here’s why that’s odd, I’m a Jessica too. But this time, instead of looking to see if someone was talking to me, I stopped and wondered if they were calling out to you.

Anyway, I thought you, then prayed for you.

  19. Lynn says:

    Praying right now!
Psalms 40:11-13 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

Happy belated mothers day to you. I recently found your blog and am so terribly sorry to hear of your sweet Tuesday’s passing. (((HUGS))) I have walked in your shoes and I am all too familiar with the pain and heartache. I was wondering if it is more difficult or perhaps a bit easier to have Tuesday’s twin with you everyday. I would think it that as much as it serves as a constant reminder of what Tuesday is missing, not doing along with her twin, yet it might also be a somewhat comforting feeling to have someone that looks just like her to love on and cuddle with. I was just wondering.

  34. roy/elisabeth dean says:

When I read this passage and it speaks of enemies, my thoughts are that they aren’t just people, but can also be applied to horrible diseases and even death. Know that I’m praying!
2 Samuel 22:2-4 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

  43. Erin says:

Hi Jessica! I am a month late. LOL But still wanted to leave you a quick hug and tell you its true, you do rock! Hope your Mothers Day was good and was a beautiful reminder of how important you are, to your children and to the world.

You have taught us so much. One of the biggest things I have learned from you is that no matter what you do, life has a destiny for all of us. its okay sometimes to not know why or have all the answers. They will just fall into place one day. We may not like it, but we can't change it. We can't forget it. We can't 'move past it' All we can do is learn to live with it, accept that we couldn't have changed it, and celebrate what was.

You taught us not to take one thing in our lives for granted. You taught us that one person can make a difference. You reminded us what is important in life and to never let that go.

Thank you Jessica! Happy Mothers Day! (Even if it is a month late!)
