Two trails converge in a yellow wood

Come.

Sit for a while.

Think of two little girls that walked through that door before the rest of us were ready.

Take in the beauty that still remains.

Feel their presence and not their absence.

Leave behind a sign that you were here.

Come.

Sit.

Dedication and blessing of Tuesday’s Trail and Emmy’s Trail.

With Love and gratitude to our Renaissance Expeditionary Learning  and Outward Bound School community and the lovely people of Jellystone Park in Larkspur.

What an amazing thing to do!
Know that I’m still here praying for your family!
2 Samuel 22:29-33 For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God? God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

Oh this made me tear up. Such a sweet dedication. I read a comment about pink orbs and sure enough in two photos I see them! The one next to you while holding Piper must be Tuesday. I really do believe in these things. God Bless you, Whitt Family. <3

Jay and Carrie took me to the trails over Thanksgiving weekend. First, let me say the time with them this trip was the best I’ve ever had. I live near Houston and feel like I’ve missed so many of the opportunities to heal just a little–the tulip planting (even though Carrie sent me bulbs which bloomed so beautifully), the birthday parties, the trail building, being with family. Going to the trails provided me with that first opportunity. I love them so much for understanding and taking me there.

There were even two deers – a buck and a doe who “modeled” for Jay to take their pictures. The time with them, and nature, and the opportunity to think about Emmy and Tuesday is something I will treasure forever.
