I agree with the others. Thank you for updating us. I was thinking about you last night and was hoping it turned out to be nothing. Okay, so that probably sounds kinda creepy considering I just realized I probably haven’t ever posted a comment here before, but um, yeah, been reading for a long time and have had you in my thoughts more than once. A collective breath is right. <3

I just parked my car on the roadside b/c I was listening to mason on the way to a patient’s home and thought about you and piper and had to check at just this moment. The relief spreading over my body is almost painful. Thank god. And huge hugs and kisses…. the worry is harder to alleviate, I know but if any one can, it is you, wonderful woman.

    Always here praying!
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

Isaiah 43:1-3a: But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned ; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour

Hi Jess – after running in to you at the store I thought I would pop over and see what’s happening here. I am SO glad to know that Piper is recovering from whatever that rash and fever was. My god that had to send you guys reeling. I am not sure about the faith and fear thing either, I don’t think fear really leaves.

  25. Allison says:

So thankful she is well. I’ve prayed for you so much over the past years, but just now checked back in after a long absence from your blog. Thanks for always writing so honestly and letting your raw emotion show. I’ve had a worry filled summer with my two year old and something that are going on with her and your words help me to name my feelings. Blessings to you and yours.

Always praying! So glad she is okay!
