Why, yes, I did move my blog and redesign it. Thanks for noticing!
That must have been a lot of work, say you. Oh, it was! But that is where tech savvy husbands come in handy. (thanks Charley!) The real work was going through old photographs and old posts. I’ve not re-read this journal, because even though it’s my journey, or perhaps because it’s my journey, it is too painful to read. I look at picture perfect pictures from the past and want to crawl inside them. I want to scoop Tuesday up and smell her soft skin. To wash her once perfect, and then later, broken little body. I start to panic, just scanning the images of a lifetime ago. I hold my breath as I search her eyes for some sort of clue. A knowledge of what lies beneath the surface. Those photo albums tell the story best. All was fine, and then it wasn’t.
Here are some photos taken since we left Oregon and headed east. They tell their own story.

Washington D.C. We had a surprise visit from our next door neighbors. It was great fun. It made us all a bit home sick, too.

I know. That should be Tuesday, right? Friends are really important too.
Beautiful! Thank you for taking us along on your journey.
Amazing pictures! I think of you guys often. Hope you are having a great visit with family! The new blog look is AMAZING!
Jess… I caught my breath reading the beginning, and the end. You have such a beautiful way with words. So sad and yet, there is always a glimmer of hope and that I love about you 🙂

I can’t even start to imagine what you are going through but you are an inspirtaion for me and many other people that read this blog, your words are always beautiful and full of hope.
Thank you for sharing about your journey, it really has changed many lives {at least mine}.
We miss you guys so so much.
I do that with pictures. Sydney has a whole bunch that are from the weekend before Em died. I just stare at them and stare at her eyes trying to see what I missed, trying to see if she knew her life was coming to a close. Love you guys so much. And love the new blog.
I love the new design! GO CHARLEY!
Your words are so beautiful. I think Deb got it right though. Sad, but a glimmer of hope.
Will never stop thinking and praying for you all.
Jess, you are a talented photographer – and an artist with words too. Your written thoughts always move me. I wish so much that I was moved for a different reason and that you had both of your little girls with you in these pictures. So good to see you guys out there in the world experiencing life to the fullest. We miss seeing you here though.
Hey pretty lady. The site is really fantastic. You guys might be inspiring me to pursue a more positive outlet for my shiz. Or, at least an outlet with more visual appeal.
I know we only had one meeting, but I miss the BFBC. It’s just not the same when you do it alone. And, the weekly supper club has all but fallen apart without you guys. We miss you.
I hope your figuring some stuff out, or figuring out the stuff that is unfigurable. I keep finding a lot of that.
Love you,
Such an attractive lot! And so well-traveled. Love you all.
mrs boo and dr boo too
You have an amazing way with words. I still cry when I think of your little Tuesday. Looks like you have had an amazing journey across the states. So many familiar places… wyoming, S. Dakota, & Chicago…
The new site is awesome! Your hubby is very talented! Your kids are beautiful! Hugs to you!
Know that you’re always in my thoughts and prayers!

The site looks great!
I think we are all living vicariously through you for all the travel. I hate that you are away because of crappy cancer and that you are without Tootie.
We have the Starlighting this weekend, and while we are excited to share traditions again, I feel very sad thinking about Tuesday. Although we did have fun that night at our house huh, being all together…
I love your photos. I want to climb in them too, and ruffle Axel’s hair, and play with Piper, and chat with Spence. Of course I would hug you and Charley like crazy!!
Love you people!
It’s nice to hear from you!

Stopping by to let you know I’m still here, still praying!
II Corinthians 12:8-10 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Looks good!! I’m glad you have been able to visit so many places and people.
Continuing to pray!
II Samuel 22:29-33 For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God? God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

I love the new look
The pictures are beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.
Praying for all of you this Thanksgiving. I lost my BFF of 30 years in May (I’m 57 and can’t believe I used BFF). So thankful for what we have but yet so sad for what we have lost. So bittersweet.
Wow! What a nice surprise! Your blog is beautiful! I love it! I’ll have to check out all the new links at top!
The pictures are all so wonderful. Thanks for sharing. You are all in my prayers daily. I know I only met you briefly during such a tragic time, but I am sad that I am leaving Colorado and we won’t be in neighboring cities much longer. I only wish we had met through happier circumstances. We have lots in common, I’m sure we would have been friends.
Your family is so strong and your blog has taught me so much about my own family.
I think of Tuesday often. Her gifts of strength determination and love will live on in so many hearts, like mine.
My heart goes out to you this Thanksgiving. Hugs to you all. <3
Still thinking of Tuesday….of you.
Always praying.
Still praying in Seattle!
Psalms 31:1-3 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Great new look to your blog. The pictures really do tell a story, inspiring in so many ways and heartbreaking in so many. Your strength is amazing, your family is lucky to have you.
Your pictures are wonderful. If I may ask, what kind of camera do you use?
Praying right now!
Psalm 31:5-8: Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth…but I trust in the LORD. I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
