Tuesday’s prayers

Our dear friends Dana and Taylor had this awesome idea.  Their church will be praying and fasting for Miss Tuesday, every tuesday until, well, until she is cancer free or they get really hungry. (sorry. That was tacky.)  Actually, I don’t know how long they are doing this but, I do know that I am so honored that total strangers are gathering in our daughter’s name.  Sacrificing so that she may receive health.  Those of you who are not believers, get ready to have your socks knocked off.  You will be witness to miracles.

So on tuesdays, let’s share our prayers for Tuesday.  Please leave them in the comment section of this post.
Matthew 18:19-20 (King James Version)

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

This is the word of the Lord. Amen and Praise God!

Hey, if you don’t ask…

Faith as small as a mustard seed sounds a little like hope to me, and that’s a good start.

God bless you on your healing journey.

Finally please let the Tuesday’s recovery inspire others to start believing in your word so some good can come out of this illness. In Jesus’s name I pray. AMEN!

Dear Lord, Please watch over Tuesday as you always have. Give her the strength she needs to fight this terrible disease. 16. Jenn H says:

Heavenly Father, please be with little Tuesday. I pray you strengthen her body and allow all organs to function as You designed. Please help her to be able to breathe on her own. Destroy the cancer Lord and may she be cancer free and live a full and wonderful life. Please be with the rest of Tuesday’s family. Give her mommy and daddy strength Lord, encourage them, lift them up and fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding! Be with her brothers and her sister, take away their fear Lord and restore the hope and joy, give them patience and understanding during this difficult time. Help them to get along with each other and may Your peace rule in the Whitt home. I pray all of these things in Your name Jesus. Amen.

  17. The Hausmans says:

Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Psalm 61:1-4)

Our family is praying for you guys everyday! Our God is good, and he will not fail you! Dont give up!

  18. Shannon says:

Always praying for Tuesday, and all of her family, and all of her doctors. That during her recovery, you will find the strength you need to get through each day until she is cancer free.

  19. Kj says:

Every day, a few times a day. I repeat the Lords Prayer. I think of Tuesday, your family and ask for love and support to come to your aid in whatever shape that may need to be.

Isn’t it phenomenal to receive so much love, prayer and well wishes from friends, family and strangers all over the state, and quite possibly overseas too? That’s some power you got going on.

    “Ask and you shall receive”.

ps I love the comment about the mustard seed moving a mountain. very fitting.

I know it is wed, which in my former catholic world that means confession day. I haven’t prayed in years, but I have been praying for Tuesday every day…

God please make Tuesday’s cancer go away, take care of her and make her well asap. Please grant her and her family all of the strength and good humor it will take to endure this injustice. And one more request, please don’t let any more children suffer with cancer. Thanks, I promise I will pray tomorrow too.

All of our prayers are for Tuesday this week and every week until she’s home again and healthy again. I’ve never had some many talks to God as I have since the chance meeting we had with the Whitt family at Parker Children’s Hospital. I’ve known Jessica, Tuesday and Piper through our twins group…we are all so busy we haven’t had the chance to know them as well as we’d like, but please know we are thinking of you every minute.

    Love, Julie, Rachel and Sara

  27. Nichole and Scott says:

I just came across your blog and am touched by your story and daughter. I will add your blog to my blog roll and I’ll also ask my family/friends to add her to their prayers. I was just on vacation and saw that kids can fly free to receive their cancer treatments on corporate jets. Have you heard of this? It was in a copy of SkyMall or the other magazine provided by United to read. I just thought you might want to know about it in case she needs to travel anywhere for treatment. Prayers are on their way for your family and Tuesday.

  28. Nichole and Scott says:

I hope you don’t mind but I added Tuesday’s Prayer to my post today. I requested prayers and for help spreading the word about your products in support of Tuesday. May I also suggest you check out the SITS and Candid Carrie’s blogs? If you join by adding their little icons it might spread the word even further as they have tons of members. Let me know if I can do anymore than pray.
