  1. Thankful to be watching Tuesday cuddled up in Spencer’s lap.
  2. Thankful to able to watch Piper dancing to the Macy’s Day Parade.
  3. Thankful that Axel is still innocent enough to run in to the room, butt naked, so he can dance.
  4. Thankful for the pecan pie that the ever talented and darling Charley baked us last night.
  5. A good cup of coffee.
I know, it’s not much, but it’s still early.  I’ll continue to post with the mundane as the day goes on.  Aside from being eternally thankful to God for Tuesday’s life, I’m thankful for the ordinary, simple things.
* If you’re watching the Parade, did you happen to notice the St. Jude’s commercial with the cute, little bald guy?  Neuroblastoma?  I bet not.  We would have probably missed it last year too.  Here, we all froze for a minute.  I cried.  In fact, I’m still crying.  It’s going to be one of those days.
     6.  Thankful for the thousands of people that just heard the word Neuroblastoma and saw the face of pediatric cancer.  For those of you that missed it, here is another face of pediatric cancer.

Because this means, for today, things are normal and normal is good.

Happy Thanksgiving.

How can you not be thankful when you look into Tuesday’s and all the other kids faces and know that they belong to you and Charley. How thankful are me and Uncle Jim that we are a part of that family too. We are so very proud of all of you and the love you have for each other. We had dinner with Uncle Jim’s family today and we all said how thankful we were for Tuesday and that she is doing so well. You all have touched so many lives and for that we are also thankful. I have been reading through your archives tonight trying to learn your story. I am praying for your daughter and your family. I have added the button to my blog so more people can pray for her.
Can I ask how you found out? Was she ill? Cancer is just so unfair.
And as a mother I cannot even imagine what you are going through.
Many, many prayers are coming your way.
