HOPE

Hope.

As millions in our country our full of hope tonight, we sit here in our little PICU room, flooded with it.  Our tiny little person, fighting stage 4 cancer, is laying here tumor free.  Her gifted and lovely surgeon, Dr. Bruny, was able to remove “99.5%” of her main tumor.  The very same tumor that was once roughly the size of a cantaloupe.  She was also able to remove the now calcified tumor next to her heart thru a little incision in her diaphragm.  Unbelievable.  The miracle of modern medicine is nothing short of, well, a miracle.  We are so blessed to be in a world class hospital with world class doctors who happen to also be class acts.  Team Tuesday will win.

Next step, recovery followed by her last cycle of chemo.
And just because it cracks me up:
