Tuesday’s prayers

All dressed up and nowhere to go…

If you have a prayer to offer up today on Tuesday’s prayers, we’d love to hear them.  They truly give us strength and encouragement.  Not to mention the fact they they are working!  Yesterday, Miss Tuesday was taken off the Oscillator and switched back to the conventional vent.  She is doing great but they are still tweaking her settings to find her sweet spot.
Baby steps.  Baby steps.  Baby steps.

    Heavenly Father,
I pray that you continue to strengthen Tuesday’s little immune system. Please continue to give her doctors and family the wisdom they need to help her beat this aweful illness. Keep the little signs and things coming their way to help them know they are thought of and prayed for daily. Every little girl needs fresh flowers, balloons, nail polish and lots of princess crowns to keep her feeling special. Give them the courage to continue reaching out for help as it’s never an easy thing to do. Please please please help them to feel all the love coming their way as we are all wrapping our arms around them in a huge hug of prayer and love. In your name I pray. Amen

  4. Jenn H says:

Heavenly Father, Thank you so much for the progress that Tuesday is making! Allow her to be able to breathe on her own without the aid of the vent. Continue to destroy the tumors and to allow the fluids in her body to pass as they should. Strengthen little Tuesday and give her comfort. Also give her mommy, daddy, brothers, and sister peace Lord, strengthen them, let them lean on You, be their rock, their strong tower, lift them up! Let them feel Your loving arms around them at all times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What a beautiful pic of a baby step! btw, Tuesday – Love the shade!

We always say a special prayer for the Whitt family. We add it onto our meal time grace and night time prayer. We pray for God to heal Tuesday and take away her cancer quickly and completely. We ask God to give strength to JK and Charley and the rest of the family to get them thru this difficult time. We thank God for the improvements Tuesday have made.

    Love you guys

  17. Erin says:

Dear Lord – Thank you so much for the strength you have given Tuesday and the Whitt family so far on this journey. We thank you for every bit of good news, every smile, every cell of that tumor that has responded to the chemo, every step Tuesday has taken in the right direction. Lord I pray that you will continue to strengthen Tuesday. Specifically I pray that she will continue to do well getting weaned down from the ventilator. I pray that she will be able to breathe on her own before her second round of chemo. Please bless Tuesday’s medical team with wisdom to discern what is best for her. Please give Jessica Kate, Charley, Axel, Spencer, and Piper strength, peace, and patience. Please make your presence known to this family. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

I am praying for you guys often! When you get a chance, keep giving us specifics so we can be praying together. Love, Erin

Dear God, please heal Tuesday and give her and her family strength and patience to continue this fight. Let Tuesday’s fight for life be an inspiration to other families going through similar issues. I hope that we can all learn to cherish every moment we have with our children and not take a single day for granted. Amen.

  19. Joellyn says:

Hello God…it’s me again. I forgot to ask you for one more thing. PLEASE get Tuesday off the vent soon (like today, ok?) and keep her off. Going through chemo is bad enough, but on a vent?! Come on! Be merciful and give this kiddo and her parents a break. Thanks a bunch! Amen.

Praying that Tuesday gets off the vent and can get back to the oncology floor where she can be in a more cheery environment and heal. Praying that you and Charley contine to have the strength to face each days challenges and to let go of the things that are out of your control. Praying that the grandparents all survive their new level of activity as they are helping to run a house with three children. Praying that Spencer, Axel and Piper can adjust well to their new routine and still know that even if you can’t be with them as much, they are still the center of your world. You all will get throught this.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Father in Heaven, I pray for the wind of your Spirit to blow through Tuesday's hospital room and drive out all despair, and all sickness and disease from her body. I thank you and praise you for your faithfulness to our family. Thank you that you hear our cry for help for baby Tuesday, and are answering! Thank you that Tuesday " will live and declare the works of the Lord"PSALM 118:17
I pray for great grace For Jessica, Charlie and all of our family, as we stand together, believing your word & promises.
Lord, comfort Tuesday & Piper, during their time apart. I ask that you give our family all that we have need of, to stand in faith. Send your angels, to Tuesday's room to minister to her, and to do warfare against the enenmy.
Thank you for your amazing love, that you have poured out upon us, during this great battle.May we feel you arms of love wrappped around us. Hold Tuesday in your arms and soothe her little spirit. Give us wisdom and discernment, as we continue to look to you, for help. We cry for "mercy and help in time of need", in Jesus name, Amen.
